'A miracle worker.'

Anna Hodgkinson

I had a newborn photoshoot with Rebecca for my little girl when she was a few weeks old. I was really impressed with how Rebecca managed to keep my baby asleep for the entire shoot, even with changing her outfit! The props & outfits used were all gorgeous & I’m so pleased with how the photos turned out. Rebecca edited & sent the photos I bought back to me really quickly. I’m really happy with my experience, would definitely recommend!

We had a newborn photography shoot done for our baby boy Tommy. Rebecca made us feel so welcome and was super with our little boy! The studio was kept at a perfect temperature for us all and white noise was played throughout to keep little one relaxed. We are so pleased with our photos and will be recommending her to friends and family!

I had a newborn shoot with my son Theo. Becky was lovely, communicated well prior to booking and when we were there it was a lovely experience. The studio is nice and warm for little ones with every prop you could imagine!! I received my photos yesterday and they are just stunning….I can’t stop looking at them! We will be returning 100%

Photoshoot Description

Newborn photography is a special way to document the arrival of your new bundle of joy. Not only does it capture the innocence and beauty of your baby, but it also creates lasting memories for your family to treasure for years to come.

One of the biggest benefits of newborn photography is that it captures your baby at their smallest and most delicate stage. Newborns change so quickly in their first few weeks, and a professional photography session allows you to freeze this special moment in time. It's a chance to remember the tiny details of your baby's fingers and toes, their soft skin, and their sleepy expressions.

Another benefit of newborn photography is that it creates a lasting family heirloom. These photographs will become treasured possessions that you can pass down to your children and grandchildren. They will be a reminder of the love and excitement you felt when your baby was born and will bring back fond memories every time you look at them.

Newborn photography is also a great way to document the special bond between parents and their new baby. These photographs will capture the love and joy that you feel as new parents and will be a reminder of this special time in your lives.

Lastly, having a newborn photography session is a great way to celebrate the arrival of your new baby. It's a chance to dress up, have your hair and makeup done, and have a professional photograph taken with your baby. It's a great way to document this special time and create memories that you'll look back on fondly for years to come.

In conclusion, a newborn photography session is a beautiful way to document the arrival of your new baby. It captures the innocence and beauty of your baby, creates lasting memories for your family, and celebrates the special bond between parents and their new baby. It is a great way to document this special time in your lives.

Newborn Photography

Newborn photography is perfect for capturing the early days and will give you beautiful photographs that you will cherish forever.

When to book?

Newborn shoots are ideally photographed in the first 14 days. This is because the babies skin is still nice and soft and free from red spots and flaking skin. The baby is also sleeping better at this stage and have a curly shape which is easier to position in some of the popular poses that parents like to see.

However, I will happily photograph Newborns up to 12 weeks old if the shoot needs to be delayed for any reason.

It is recommended to book as early as your 20 week scan to secure your date, however, I will always try and be as accommodating and flexible as possible. Once booked, I will ask you to have a look through my gallery and let me know if there are any specific colours or props / poses that you would like to be included in your session. As an artist I do create unique set ups for each of my Newborn sessions but happy for you to add any particular favourites you like and also please do let me know of props etc that you are not keen on and I will avoid these during your session.

Before your session, I will send you tips for preparing for your photoshoot.

What to expect on the day?

All my Newborn Photoshoots take place at Mini Me Photography studio is Lichfield. My studio is warm and relaxing and you can relax and enjoy the experience.

I will edit your photos within 2 weeks and send them over via an online gallery for you to view and choose your favourites.

To achieve the best results, I advise that you to do the following;

  • Please keep your baby awake for 2 hours before the session
  • Feed your baby 20-30 minutes before you arrive or hold off until arrival
  • If you can avoid drinking caffeine for 24 hours before the session if you are breastfeeding.

During the session I will keep the studio very warm as your baby will spend a lot of the session undressed, so wearing cool clothing for the parents is essential.
